do body piercings hurt?

When a piercing is performed by a skilled and experienced professional, it is rarely more than a quick pinch. our piercers will walk you through the process with breathing exercises and a calming bedside manner to make the experience virtually painless.

can i go swimming with a fresh piercing?

we do not recommend submersing any fresh piercing in any open bodies of water for at least 2 months or longer depending on how the piercng is healing. this includes; lakes, pools, hottubs and your bathtub which will harbor bacteria.

what do i do if i think my piercing is infected?

if you are concerned you have an infection and/or are displaying any or all of the following symptoms please reach out to the studio immediately and we will discuss your situation and advise what to do from there.

• excessive swelling

• excessive redness

• extremely sore

• oozing green/yellow fluids

• hot to the touch

if for any reason you are unable to reach one of our piercers please err on the side of caution and visit a medical practioner immediately.

how many piercings can i get at once?

we will perform up to 3 piercings in one piercing session.

while the initial trauma of the piercings tends not to be too bad, the more piercings your body is trying to heal, the longer and more problematic the healing period tends to be.

why shouldn’t i use anything other than a saline wound wash to clean my piercing?

saline is a gentle but, effective way to keep your piercing clean without harming the healing tissue with harsh chemical agents like alcohol, hydrogen peroxide or bactine.

am i supposed to twist or turn the jewelry?

absolutely not!! this is one of the worst things you can do to a piercing that is healing.

hands off is always the number one rule as every time you touch the piercing or jewelry, you are introducing bacteria into the area which can lead to infection.

and each time the jewelry is twisted or turned it is essentially tearing or damaging the fistula of scar tissue that is trying to form on the inside of the piercing channel. again resulting in a drawn out healing period.

do i have to wear a mask?

the studio does not require clients to weAR A MASK TO THEIR APPOINTMENT; WE WILL PROVIDE MASKS FOR CLIENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE ONE AND ARE UNCOMFORTABLE WITHOUT.

can i bring friends or moral support with me to my appointment?

we welcome you to bring friends or family with you to your appointment although, if the shop is reaching capacity or if the piercer is uncomfortable with more than one person present during the piercing procedure, they may be asked to wait in the parking lot.

do you take walk-ins or do i haveto book an appointment?

our piercers are available for appointments or walk-in traffic.
